The Home Junior High Baseball Game has been Postponed

AK Siple led from the circle by pitching 4 innings, 1 hit, 10 K's
Also she hit a long 2 run Homerun.
Briaha Peoples hit a 2 run Homerun
Game 2
Lady Tide 15
North Star 0
AK Siple pitched 3 innings, 2 hits. 1 BB, 8 K's
She also hit a 2 run Homer and 2 Doubles and 4 RBI's
Addison Butler and Natalie Wischuck had 3 hits
With this win it pushed the Lady Tides record to 10-3
This win also gave Coach Leigey his 300th career win.
Mr. Leigey would like to Thank the Curwensville School Districts
Administrators and my coaching staff for the after game celebration.
I also want to thank the Curwensville staff for making the day extra special.
Most of all I am very Thankful for the 2024 Lady Tide Softball Team for delivering the Wins! You Are All Awesome!
In other sports news - the Jr. High baseball team won vs Purchase Line on Friday. The score was 15-0 in 3 innings. Their record is now 9-0 for the season.
Curwensville scored 8 runs in the first inning when Brody Larson doubled, scoring 2 runs. Peyton Perks and Dean Swatsworth both singled, scoring 1 run each. Hunter Passmore and Logan Dixon both drew a walk scoring 1 run each. Trenton Best had a sacrifice fly scoring 1 run. The team scored 7 more in the 3rd when Breck Finn singled, scoring 2 runs. Best doubled, scoring 2 more runs. Passmore and Swatsworth both singled, scoring 1 run each. Larson had a sacrifice fly scoring 1 more run. Finn got the win on the mound.

DAY 157
Our 7th and 8th grade students will be taking the PSSAs today. The bells will be turned off until the testing is completed for the morning. Upperclassmen - please do your very best to move quietly through the halls during the testing times. Most of the testing will take place downstairs, but Mrs. Danko will also have students testing upstairs. 8th Grade Students Testing with Mr. Pennington will report to the Health Room.
Due to the PSSA testing, some classes will be meeting in different locations. Please listen carefully to the following classroom changes:
1st Period:
Mrs. Sutika's Anatomy and Phys. report to Mrs. Berry's room - 105
Mr. C's 1st Period American History I students will report to Mrs. Rowles room - 207
Mrs. Hepfer's 1st Period Study Hall will report to Mr. Wos's Room - 213
Mr. Duriancik's 1st period Driver's Ed. Students will report to Mrs. K. Ryan's Room - 212
3rd period:
Mrs. Sharpless-Harris' study hall will report to Room 240 today. Please note this is a change from last week!!
4th period:
Mr. Briskar's study hall will report to Mr. McCracken's room - 233

Attention NHS Juniors and Seniors. We still need items for tomorrow’s post-induction reception. Please see the Google Classroom for what is needed and what members have already pledged to bring. Please step up and make this a success! Items may be dropped off in Mr. Sutton’s room by tomorrow morning.
It's time to show your school spirit. Cheerleading tryouts start today! They will be held from 3-5 p.m. in the High School Gym. Come tryout for the 2024-25 cheer squads. Any questions please see Jolleen Stewart in Mr. J. Butler's classroom.
