Surveys

    Community Scholarship Information Survey

If you have any questions or need assistance with the online survey, please contact the high school office at 236-1100. Either of the administrative assistants, Kate or Heather, will be happy to assist you.

    Food Assessment Needs Survey

As part of our ongoing efforts to support student and family well-being, we are asking all families to complete a brief food needs assessment. This assessment will help us understand the current food security situation for students and families in our school community.

The assessment should take less than 5 minutes to complete. It asks questions about any challenges you may be facing, and whether you would benefit from additional food assistance resources.

The information you provide will be used to connect families with relevant food assistance programs and resources. We appreciate your participation in helping us better support the needs of our school community.

    Read Across America Week

Curwensville Elementary once again plans to celebrate Read Across America Week in a big way! March 3rd - March 7th Along with our theme days, students will be treated to:

Reading Reunion/Next Year Now: Teachers have recorded themselves reading their favorite stories. Students will get a chance to “reunite” with former teachers and “visit” with their teachers for next year!

New Books! – Participating classrooms will “Unwrap a Good Read”. Classrooms will unwrap new books as special reading surprises throughout the week.

Guest Readers: Students will be treated to special readings from our high school clubs and sports teams.

The Masked Reader: Each day, students will watch a video of one of our staff members reading a book. The surprise – the reader will be masked! On Friday afternoon, the entire student body will gather in the auditorium to learn the identity of each reader!

Reading Scavenger Hunt: The Elementary Reading Team is planning a fun scavenger hunt for all students K-6! During the week on their way to their special class, students will need to find a hidden picture related to their book. If they find it, that class receives that book to add to their classroom library!

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!  On March 5th, each student will receive a slice of cake at lunch to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday.
