The curriculum for Sophomore English is very diverse and the lessons are usually complex. We do several activities in one class period. Due to the nature of the class you are expected to participate in all activities: written, oral, artistic, group and individual. Points are given for completing certain assignments throughout the respective class periods.
Homework is graded for completion at the start of class. Ten points for work that is completely done, five points for work that is half done, and zero points for work that is not done at all.
Tests, quizzes, and extensive projects will be graded individually, and on a straight points earned/points possible basis
It is very easy to calculate your percentage grade. Divide the total points earned by the total points possible.
