Event: Service Academy Event Day

Agenda:  This program is for any high school sophomore or junior that is considering applying to one of the five major U.S. Service Academies.  Information on career opportunities offered by the Academies and how you may earn a Congressional Nomination to attend one of these institutions will be covered.  Representatives from each of the academies will be present to answer questions and distribute information.

Event: Camp Promise

Date June 24, 2012 to June 28, 2012

Time: 9:00 am to 2:00 pm (lunches provided)

Location: VFW Picnic Grounds, Industrial Park Rd., Clearfield, PA

Agenda: This camp is free to any child/teen who is experiencing grief and loss due to the death of someone they knew.  The camp is designed to guide children and teens through the difficult time surrounding the loss of a loved one.  The week long day camp is geared to support children and teens through a combination of activities including arts, crafts, journaling, music, games, and sports.
