Academic Biology Prerequisites- an 85% average in Academic Earth and Space Science is suggested and the approval of the 9th grade science teacher. Academic Biology, which includes a lab period, is intended for the student who is going on to pursue a two or four year college degree. It provides the foundations for advanced studies in biology such as: structures and functions of cells, genetics, evolution, plant structures, watersheds, and ecology. ~1.2 credit
